Thomas Pröckl new CFO at DRS

Previous member of the financial board of Eintracht Frankfurt Football AG will take over Finance & Legal at the SaaS specialist Data Room Services

Frankfurt, June 4th, 2012 - Dr. Thomas Pröckl (55) is the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the software company DRS in Frankfurt, Germany. In his new position, the former member of the board of renowned National Soccer League Club Eintracht Frankfurt is responsible for the area of finance & legal and joins the executive management team of DRS, which is comprised of Alexandre Grellier and Jan Hoffmeister. Dr. Pröckl will have his office at the DRS office in Frankfurt. As a SaaS provider, DRS specializes in supporting business-critical transactions such as commercial real estate sales, mergers and acquisitions and IPOs with its virtual data room software.

Dr. Pröckl brings more than 20 years of experience in finance and controlling to his new job at DRS. Prior to his move to DRS, the doctor of industrial engineering had been part of the board of Eintracht Frankfurt for almost 12 years. There, he was responsible for transforming the corporate structure of the professional soccer club into that of a shareholder company. He also brought personnel, organizational and technical advancements that greatly contributed to the company´s growth. Before his engagement with Eintracht Frankfurt, Dr. Pröckl held executive positions at well-known companies such as Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, Mann & Hummel, Carl Freudenberg and ABB.
