Alexandre Grellier
Alexandre Grellier has been leading the company since 2003 and has been responsible for the significant growth in the data room business in Germany.
Before DRS, Alexandre worked as a lawyer at Lehman Brothers in Frankfurt and London in the areas of compliance and transaction management after working in industrial trading at Fresenius. He began his professional career at Commerzbank.
Alexandre studied law at the Legal Faculty of the University of Augsburg.
Jan Hoffmeister
As co-founder of DRS, Jan Hoffmeister was one of the trailblazers for the introduction of virtual data room solutions in Europe.
In 2001, Jan Hoffmeister founded the company to provide physical data rooms for transactions. His real goal, however, was to virtualize this process and offer an online due diligence platform. After an intensive development phase, his ideas about how such a platform should look and perform came to fruition. As a result DRS is the leading virtual data room provider in Europe.
Jan has over 15 years of experience as a manager, mainly at Siemens, in the areas of Corporate Finance and M&A in Germany, Switzerland and the USA.
After an apprenticeship at Siemens AG in Berlin, Jan Hoffmeister studied business economics at the Technical University of Berlin and specialized in the Economics of Finance.
Dr. Thomas Pröckl
Dr. Thomas Pröckl joined DRS on 1st July 2012 as the Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for overall financial control. In this role his responsibilities include the corporate sectors, accounting, tax, legal and purchasing.
Dr. Pröckl brings more than 20 years of experience in finance to his new job at DRS. Prior to joining DRS, Dr. Pröckl was on the management board of Eintracht Frankfurt for almost 12 years. There, he was responsible for transforming the corporate structure of the professional soccer club into that of a shareholder company. He also brought personnel, organizational and technical advancements that greatly contributed to the company´s growth.
Before his engagement with Eintracht Frankfurt, Dr. Pröckl held executive positions at well-known companies such as Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, Mann & Hummel, Carl Freudenberg and ABB Asea Brown Boveri.
